Today’s session from this collection is one that I wasn’t sure should be shared publicly. I’ve decided to, for the following reason. I know that I followed all the usual rituals for the sitting, including making sure my mind was free of topics that might influence the words I transcribe.
I feel I want to apologise, but stop short of doing so because it is you that have an interest in this work and not just me for myself.
In the hope of filling you in with a few of the details, let me share with you the events that led to this sitting. A day or so before, Jane and I had made friends with the couple in the neighbouring villa. An Irish couple called Ian and Janie.
One night, we invited them around to our villa for late night drinks in the warm late evening ambience. Some time during our conversation, they found out that I was a medium. While they were both Catholics, they both were intrigued and wanting to know more.
Over the following hour or so, and with their permissions, I brought through several members of their lost families from the other side. Without sharing too many of the private details here, there was a lot of tears as the evidence flowed freely. Ian had experienced a difficult upbringing and the parent relationship was to damage him emotionally. Something that he was still not addressing. The person in spirit was relaying regrets and apologies backed with gold nugget evidence.
The collective readings from that session bonded our new friendship and today we still communicate through WhatsApp. On the night, my Jane was staggered by the evidence I was relaying and witnessed the good that mediumship can do for a person. Even I was surprised at the accuracy and detail within the reading, both for Ian and Janie.
Janie has told me several times that night that the reading, the evidence, and the words that were shared from the spirit world have given Ian huge comfort and may be the start of a change that he has to address in dealing with past matters.
The speaker in today’s session is referring to that reading and is not short of praise for the way I dealt with the detail. I will therefore apologise what seems like self-praise in this content. I have always shared everything with you, the good and the bad. So in that vein, accept today’s session for what it is.

I don’t go out of my way to tell strangers I’m a medium when I’m on holiday. But when there’s constant questioning as to what I do for a living, and vague words fail to satisfy, I will reveal my gift. Most times this happens, their curiosity ends, but on this occasion it led to a full-on reading request.
THE WFSIW SESSION
Hello.
Over the past few days, you have played a good role in your connection with us, and those messages you conveyed to your new friends. They came into your life as part of the bigger plan.
The way you handled the communications was commendable. Both Ian and Janie were in need of that knowing what you shared through the connection made. Janie's mum was comfortable in knowing she had strong children to continue supporting the family. Her mum had wanted to speak to her for some while and you offered the perfect opportunity.
Ian's parents live this side with so many regrets from their actions on earth. You became aware of those issues during the connection, but said only enough to reassure and comfort. Ian carries the burden through his life and, one day, will be free of the burden for good. Your reading offered him love and hope, and started the work that needs to be done.
Mediumship is indeed a marvellous gift, and you should be proud of how you use yours.
Many signs were sent your way, a few of which you noticed. Yes, the two parrots were a sign, though at that moment you hadn't recognised it.

They were sent by those that you relayed messages for. Since you've realised that, there is no great mystery or power between our two worlds. Your connections have been clearer and free-flowing.
I know how many emotions you have experienced over the past days, but that is only credit to your awareness. I know you don't require gifts for the work you are doing, but be assured, one is on its way. Be proud of how far you have come and be excited about the journey ahead.
I know you don't take praise easily and I'm aware how uncomfortable you are, writing my words. But may I finally say to your readers that the best way to improve your mediumship is to treat it with respect and as the great gift it is.
Yes, anyone can learn new skills, but it is only the very few that are enlightened to do so. Keep doing what you can each day to walk the straighter path and open yourself to the exciting emotions our work offers.

[31/07/24 UPDATE] When originally published, I didn’t include an inspiration graphic. But now, as I enter this session to these archives, and after some kind comments from listeners, I’ve changed my decision. This graphic suggests how I view the depth of the session.
🔷 Why wouldn’t a speaker from the spirit world want to make comment on a connection that they have made happen? Although the phrase, “self-praise is no recommendation” comes to mind, this session was written in the same way all are, so for once, the speaker is choosing to pass gratitude.
🔷The morning after the reading took place, we were visited by two doves that came and sat on the dividing glass just a few feet away from me [opening photo above]. Not before, or after this visit, did we see doves again venture into our villa grounds.
🔷 I do cringe when I’m aware of what the speaker is telling me when it involves personal compliments. A tiny bit of my mind fights the words.
