This is the thirteenth of the seventh series of Lanzarote Sessions, transcribed during a break to the Canary Islands in September 2024. During our frequent visits, I sit in the power of spirit at least once every day and allow the spirit connect to share a message with me.

I wonder if we truly appreciate what the phrase ‘continuation of life’ involves. Of course, the clue is in the first word – continuation.
I’ve come to learn that what we might think the next life might involves is far less complex than we believe. We like to think that in the spirit world we’ll inherit super-powers, able to do whatever we choose, by thought. Lazy days filled with sunshine, beautiful landscapes and flowers in abundance. Perhaps some of that might be so, but they are also available on earth in this life phase.
The continuation of life means nothing more complicated than life continuing. Our surroundings might be different. The people we are surrounded by might also take some accustomising to. We might have to come to terms with a new set of physics and science governing our new home. But our personality and everything our spirit and soul learned during the earth life remains with us. Whatever education we had on earth, will be our starting point in the next life.
There are some people on earth that believe the people in spirit must be all-knowing and all-seeing. Some people think that if we could talk to those in the afterlife, we’d be able to get the answers to all the mysteries we’ve festered in our minds. Sadly that is not how it is. The dominating lesson I have learned from years of communicating with the personalities in the spirit world is that life continues after this one on earth. Some things change, but fundementally we move from one dimension to the next, seamlessly and without change.
Today’s speaker reitterates this point. He/she speaks to me as normal as a person on earth might. The miracle of a continuing life should not be considered beyond its meaning.
There have been many books written about and allegedly from the spirit world. Every one of them gives a different interpretation of that world. That is not what is being considered here, only our continuing personality and its state.

Who is the font of all knowledge? Is there even such a source?
Good day to you. There are my opening statements for you to ponder over. Let me offer you my thoughts and dispel a myth or two.
There are many people on earth that are of the belief that people of the spirit world must know everything there is to know. That is not so, I’m afraid to disappoint. We are ordinary people, continuing our lives in a different dimension, that’s all.
We come here with the collective knowledge we acquired during our time on earth. If we then choose to continue learning and gaining more knowledge and understanding, that is our personal choice. Most of us do choose to, though. It’s part of growing, and fulfilling the life we have been blessed with, no matter the dimension.
On your planet in your era, you can easily learn whatever you want about any topic, and within minutes without much effort. If you want to know things like why the pyramids were built, then read and learn from those experts that have studied the topic.
In my lifetime on earth, I was not academic. I read a few books in my time, but I was a hands-on person who came home from work each night with dirty hands. I didn’t have access to computers or books in my day. I’m not sure I’d have had the interest anyway.
I’ve gained some new knowledge this life era. I like being involved in some of our sports here.
Anyway, back to the opening statement. The only answer I can offer to you the question is nobody. Some might suggest the Divine knows all, but I would find that hard to comprehend. Why would God know everything that ever happened and all the reasons? The assumption there is that God is a person in form as humans. He is not. God is a force.
If people on earth want to know the answers to earthbound questions, then ask the people that know. If people want to know about the life I’m living in this world, then concisely ask the questions. But expect some answers to surprise, disappoint or make no sense. That’s the way it is.
Of course, there are some wise people living here. There are people with such advanced abilities with such things as science, biology or physics, that it would blow your mind if I were able to share it with you. Thing is, I don’t understand what these experts are up to and why. It’s not in my life.
The wonder of a continuing life is enough for me, I can tell you. I’ve never had enough understanding of such matters to be able to explain them properly. For example, everything in my world continues to be solid to the touch. I see everything as I did on earth. Yes, these things are brighter and different, but I have no idea how to explain to you, or anyone else on earth, why or how the existence of physical objects continue to exist in our world and yet remain invisible to you. I am not a font of all knowledge. Nor are many of my friends here.
The miracle of a continuing life is just that – the miracle. I hope my pragmatic approach has served to reassure you that just because I live in another dimension, doesn’t make me that sought-after font.

MY AFTERTHOUGHTS

- It is my belief that, as here on earth, there are varying degrees of advanced people in the spirit world. Some are more knowledgeable than others. The same is true of our circles here on earth where mediums communicate with the spirit world. Some circles are filled with advanced mediums, while others are lesser advanced. Like follows like and I suspect that is the rule that comes into force when connecting to the spirit world.
- Sometimes I think we make too much of a big deal of the physics, science and biological differences of our two worlds. People adapt quickly and do so without analysing details. Do we question every lung full of air, or do we just accept its right for us?
- I’m curious with this speaker’s acceptance of everything in that world being in a solid state, as on earth. That surely is a topic for philosophical discussion.
