Today’s speaker echoes my thoughts regarding the ease of communication with the spirit world. But is it that easy for all of us, or am I acting with delusion?
Like so many of us who follow this path, I have witnessed other mediums at work and occasionally thought that they were delusional in their beliefs. I didn’t want to become one of those who didn’t question their connection with the spirit world. For a long time, I believed that if there was no evidence offered during a connection with the spirit world, how could it be proved that it was real?
It was a few years ago that I changed my thinking about this issue. I realised that expecting evidence or validation in every conversation with the people in spirit was limiting the power and freedom of a conversation. I learned to stop analysing every communication with questioning and pointless demands from the fragile spirit connection. Instead, I connect, listen and accept the communication like any other one I would have with anyone here or there. It was akin to removing the barriers between those wanting to communicate and me wanting validation for every word I heard.
Of course, communicating with the people in spirit for a public demonstration is a different matter. In those conditions, evidence is essential, and the spirit’s intelligence knows that. But even when we work with others expecting of us, we should learn to be more free with the flow of words and less critical of everything we interpret. If the connection is strong, the evidence will naturally flow and be present for all to experience.
Today’s speaker talks a little about our freedom of expression during a connection. Perhaps this is a topic that our tutors should be more focused on.
POST SCRIPT
Although I no longer expect evidence every other word, when I read these sessions back, months later, I can clearly recognise phrasing and sentences that are not of my natural language. That, for me, acts as a validation.
THE WFSIW SESSION
I've come bringing peace and happiness, to talk to you this day. The flow of communations between our two worlds is remarkable. It's constant, and the number of people on earth connecting to us at any of your given moments is too many to count. It is a rich source for everyone involved on earth, and one that brings us great joy and happiness to be involved in.
Your many great teachers are all enthusiastic in wanting others to make the fragile connection for themselves. Much time is spent sharing stories, techniques and methods that can be used.
It's a wonderful ability to acquire and well worth the effort, particularly for those that struggle to grasp the basics. There are many moments of joy this side, when a new medium finally makes a pure connection and relays a message of love and hope to someone in need of it.
I'm most certainly not going to talk to you about the right way and the wrong way to bridge the two worlds. That is best left for the student to work out, and for the teacher to establish. There are many ways that I have learned since my new life here, but there are also many ways I still can't quite grasp. But isn't that the beauty of the gift? Isn't that exciting for both our worlds?
I have found that those partaking in the gift of healing do achieve the greatest and strongest communications when it comes to using mental states. Their energies are more aligned to ours and messages are relayed more accurately.
I suppose if I had to share with your my least favorite way to connect with people on earth, it would be using the dream state. When people on your side rest and fall to sleep, their minds move into a state of tranquility that suits our connection.
The reason I'm not keen on waving it is because some of the greatest deliveries I have made have gone forgotten when my connect awakens. Its frustrating! We do make effort to ensure that the message is remembered, but beyond that, there's little else we can do.
Its worth reminding you that it is people on earth that appear to enjoy attaching do's and don't s to everything. Do this, do that, don't do this, dont do that. These type of instructions only serve to confuse people. Your teachers would do good to learn to be more flexible in their approaches to teach my others how to connect with us.
No two slices of bread are the same, according to my ma! Everyone is different.
Sad as it is, there will never come a time when everyone on your side knows to connect with our world. There are too many wrong influences for that to happen. That is a shame, especially when you appreciate that everyone could lean to unite our worlds quite early.
You, my friend, have had your self-imposed challenges along the way, but finally you're more accepting of the processes and getting better at it every day. But many who will read my words will still keep saying they are struggling, or share how they find it difficult to connect or recognise our touch. I say to them, once you accept, you own the gift. Does that make sense? Is that dearly stated?
Once you accept, you own the gift.
I'm grateful that you've given my words a voice today. This too is one excellent way for us to talk to you. Keep doing it, my friend.
Take my joy, my healing energy, and my words with you this day and onwards.
Goodbye.

MY AFTERTHOUGHTS TODAY
Thursday 16th August 2024
100 days after the session was transcribed
As I’ve explained in the opening preamble, my desire for hard-hitting evidence every time I connect to the spirit world for this exercise is not as strong as it used to be. So, although this graphic isn’t as high as recent ones have been, the message remains an important one.
It’s comforting to hear that the mediums in the spirit world still get a buzz when they know they’ve successfully communicated with someone on this side of life.
Isn’t that so true about dreams? Sometimes it’s later in a day before we recall we had a particular dream the night before. By which time, the strength and content of the dream is forgotten. I can appreciate how frustrating that might be for those in the spirit world that made it happen.
Using the words self-imposing is such a concise way of describing our challenge of recognising a connection. By removing this factor, it is clear to appreciate how much more free a communication would be, and therefore how much more detail it might contain.
