I take after my father in so many ways. I have the same “MacGyver” genes! Many of the skills I’ve acquired regarding writing, editing, photography and specialised DIY work, I’ve learnt from watching YouTube videos.
When I think back to how my Dad was, I can say with all certainty that he too would be endlessly watching tutorial YouTube videos, learning about this and that. But he passed to spirit before even the internet was a big deal, let alone smartphones and the like.
Today’s speaker makes a comparison with our world that we live in today and his/her world in their days on earth. Surprisingly he doesn’t suggest he would have liked to life today.
His words made me realise how integrated we become with the evolution that is happening around us. Nothing stands still, including us. So although I believe my dad would have adapted very well in this world today, he lived a full life in the world he was given. That’s all that matters surely.

I cannot imagine my life without modern technology playing such a role in it. So I prefer to embrace it, rather than fight it.
THE WFSIW SESSION
Good day to you chap. Nice to have you connected to talk to. You're on the island of Lanzarote once more. I've been informed how much you love it there. When I was on earth, I didn't travel outside of my country. Life was very much more simple back then. We used to think a trip to the nearest big city was exciting.
We talked of the foreign places, but we knew we were never going to see them. Apart from anything else, travel was difficult. I was around when the first charabanc came to our town. That was such an exciting adventure. I once got to ride on the top deck. My memory tells me that that was the day it broke down, just outside our village. I only got to ride for a few hundred yards.
But just because our life was much simpler back then, doesn't mean it wasn't worthy. It was richer in so many more ways than your world is today. We experienced true family time. Mum and Dad always sat with us and we were always chatting aloud, laughing and telling stories.
Comparing my earth life to yours today in your world is not really a sensible notion. Humans have always adapted to their circumstances and made the best with what they've got. Am I envious of your lifestyle now? No, not in the least. I don't understand it enough to be able to make an educated answer.
Life is evolving and with it, the way humans interact with their planet. Your modern technology is all part of the evolution with revolution, the latter being something that repeats.
Evolution on earth for those living there is exciting I'm sure. But I don't miss my old world. Where I am now is far greater than anything that will ever evolve on earth.
The day will come when your technology will unite the two worlds, but it will be many more of your years before everyone accepts ours. We're often asked by earth people if we experience aging at all. The answer is quite the opposite to what you might think. We evolve, we don't age. I've come to understand that eventually each of our souls will merge with another soul and so on. This is our evolution. It's a progression that is individual to us as individual souls.
I've heard that our memories of earth life fades as it becomes less important to us. As we individually grow in understanding, meaning and love, this becomes our domination. We blend with other souls with a purpose to continue the journey towards the ultimate love.
In terms of comparing my time here with your timeframe, I'm a mere youngster and I don't believe I'm ready to move on yet, but of course I don't know. I'm just happy with who I am in this here and now space of infinity.
So although you believe you're in your paradise space now, the future offers so much more for you. And please don't forget, when I say future, that spans your life on earth and the transition into this one of mine.
Thank you for allowing my words to achieve life through your pen. Perhaps I will be given the opportunity to speak to you again soon.
For the meantime my friend, please keep learning more about the continuation of life. You've not scratched the surface of the endless possibilities. Goodbye to you dear friend. I must part company.

MY AFTERTHOUGHTS
written on 17th October 2023
30 days after the session was transcribed
The words have more meaning than one might initially realise. The topic of our evolving world fascinates me, and as I mentioned in the preamble. I often wonder if our past relatives in the spirit world would have liked to live here on earth nowadays. The speaker puts that to bed with his message today.
The tone of this speaker leads me to believe them to me a male. The opening salutation is a masculine phrase.
I was confused when the speaker referred to his village has having the first charabanc’s visit and then stating the desire to ride on the top deck. I did a quick bit of research and was surprised to discover that the first double decker buses began around 1852 onwards. Who knew that!
This is the second time that a speaker from their world has mentioned the merging of souls as being the long term part of the journey. Interesting notion that I hope to learn more about.
"Where I am now is far greater than anything that will ever evolve on earth."
