I don’t sit for messages from the spirit world for entertainment value. I sit to learn from the speaker connect, something that will help me progress my own understanding and education.
I’m not entirely convinced that the message received through this connection comes from a resource outside of my own imagination and knowledge. Forty two days have now passed since I sat for the session I’m writing about now. Because of that passing of time, I cannot recall the session. Reading it afresh and rewriting it today for digital purposes has given me a clearer approach to the message written.
I have always believed in honesty with myself through this work. If I’m not convinced, then I openly say so, and this session falls into that category. There are only a few sentences that differ from my own understanding, while the majority of this ‘epic’ session appears to contain information I might have been aware of.
In mitigation, it might be that I know more than the speaker realises, and therefore their message acts as a validation to my knowledge. I find that doubtful.
So what went wrong?
Time has passed since I transcribed the following session. But I cannot recall my state of mind during the session. Several things might have been happening during the sitting. Perhaps I didn’t prepare long enough, or I was struggling to recognise a connection. Maybe the words I wrote were nothing more than the words of my own higher spirit. Whatever the reason, reviewing this session leaves me with some doubts.
The important aspect of this exercise is in being able to recognise what words are inspired from another source other than my own known mind. When the spirit speakers talk to me, I expect some signs within their words that what I’m transcribing is not from my own imagination. Evidence perhaps, or some ingredients that are outside of my own understanding, especially when the topic is as delicate and important as the one chosen today.
POST SCRIPT
You may learn something from today’s words from the message. Set the new knowledge in sand and not concrete. Allow yourself the freedom of being able to dismiss the message if, you know differently now, or learn so in the future.
THE WFSIW SESSION
Hello. So you want me to talk to you about what this world we live in is like? Well, that sets me a challenge. You see, many of your great trance mediums have been shown a glimpse of our world. Other people have accidentally been visitors for a short life. I'm referring to those that go into the light because of a medical issue, but are soon returned back to the planet.
Your pages in your reference books all have different versions of life this side. Only yesterday you were reading a reference to the great Swedenborg's version of life this side.
Let me make things a little clearer for you, though complete clarity is not possible using your own imagination at this time. Every unique soul, every individual that resides in this realm has their own perceptions, often that they have created.
Let me take your own father as an example. When he crossed to this side, he was greeted by those close to him this side. His parents and his friends. For a while, he experienced the new world in the form that they had created.
Eventually, he chose to create his own world using, what your people refer to as, a template. In other words, it was a perceived world already in existence. This is where he created his new home. All of his family and friends this side automatically became part of it. The template, if you like to call it that, wasn't too dissimilar to one many other souls have chosen, hence it was well established.
Most people choose similar templates that very much mirror their previous life on earth. As you all say, live with what is familiar. Your father worked on his new house, as he would have on earth, but without the backache and labour pains. He created what was to him, a beautiful home with wonderful views.
When your mother passed to this side, your dad was there to greet her, as were all the members of her family. Her brother, Jim, and other siblings all were at hand to help her adjust. Both your mum and dad adjusted very quickly. This was because this new life in this world was without the pain and financial woes of earthbound life.
Your mum chose to live in your father's new home and their life-long relationship could continue as if they'd never been apart.
All the templates, as we've called them for this writing, are interwoven. Anyone can visit any other perceived area. Those that liked to go to pubs on earth can do so here too. Those that choose a more spiritual and solitude life can embrace that way too.
You see, where the earth form of life is known to be three dimensions, here it is multi-dimensional. How that works is something that I would find difficult to explain. The best analogy I can offer is referring to your own dreams where you visit places that are new, often frightening, sometimes beautiful. We all have the freedom of choice this side.
When you consider what I've shared with you as a peek into our structure, you can appreciate it's a lot less complicated that you might have imagined. You'll discover, when you come here, that keeping life to the three dimensions on earth is what appears difficult.
I hope you enjoyed that insight into our world. But can I leave you with a piece of personal advice? Don't spend your remaining time on your planet wondering what's ahead. Instead, appreciate what you have around you. Your time to come here will come in time, as it will for everyone. So in the meantime, like you do with your holidays, don't wish your time away.

My opening preamble explains why I am going to downgrade this session with the graphic below. The second paragraph might offer some explanation why this topic was fresh in my mind at the time. At the time, I was reading about Swedenborg’s description of life the other side. It was far in extreme to anything I had read before and most certainly not in alignment with others accounts of spirit life. Perhaps that was in the forefront of my mind when I sat for this session.
I understand the notion of living within a ‘template’ of life. We often forget that as we understand it, life after death is one of mind only. What each of us sees in our mind will differ from others. Let me give you an example. I am visualising a childhood memory of an orange at Christmas time. You just did that too. You visualised an orange, you set the scene, but how much else of that is the same as my recollection? Yet the orange at Christmas time was accurate for both of us.
I’m sure my father would have created a wonderful home in preparation for my mother when she passed. But I’m also sure that my mum, who was far more creative, would have had to make radical changes to it!
The entire subject of actual objects in the spirit world, such as buildings, surroundings, air, temperature, and even light are very subjective in understanding. This aspect of our understanding is an unknown and will most likely only be explainable, when we get there ourselves!
