After a session of sitting in the power, Trev prepares a new digital notepad before closing his eyes, saying a prayer and sending a request to his team in the spirit world. When he hears the first few words from the connecting speaker, he commences with the transcribing process of writing everything that comes into his mind. 

Only a few words are heard at a time, giving Trevor time to transcribe them. Trevor never knows ahead what the topic of the communication will be, nor the direction and composition of the message. 

The process is known as automatic or inspired writing, determined by the amount of the altered state of mind.

The Spirit Insights sessions are usually published some time after first being transcribed. Because Trev was a conduate during that process, what was written doesn't stay in Trev's mind. 

The star rating can be found just under the 'Afterthoughts' title. The rating is based on 0 - 10. Trev sets the grade according to how 'pure' he believes the message to be. This happens at the time of creating this public presentation. A full 10 is unlikely to happen because Trev's mind has to remain active to some degree during the process of transcribing the spirit's message. 

These sessions were presented to the Spirited Talk Envoys 2 months before each was generally released. It is partly due to the funding from the Envoy fees that this website can continue to develop and grow into a valuable source of information for the enthusiastic students of this way of life.

Mind, or mental mediumship is the most common form of relaying messages from the spirit world. To achieve these spirit-inspired messages, Trev sits in the power and prepares as he would for a normal reading. The difference being that the connected person in spirit knows Trev is transcribing their message, word for word. The obvious missing detail is being able to validate through evidence, as in a normal reading.

Trev became a student of mediumship at the turn of this century and has been practising and learning ever since. He retired from public work in 2022 and now devotes much of his time to documenting and archiving his work for other like-minded students to learn from.

At the beginning of the Covid pandemic, Trev decided to launch a new podcast series in which he would discover the stories behind some of the UK's best-known mediums. Spirited Talk Podcasts were popular and continue to receive hundreds of listeners across the globe. In 2023, high production costs forced Trev to stop the project, and it was mothballed for the future. However, the recordings remain popular and timeless.

Some of the original links and website references used within the recordings may no longer be valid. However, the stories and details remain important and valuable to all students of this work with the Spirit world

Though the podcasts had to end in 2023, Trev has never dismissed the possibility that new episodes might return some day in the future.

From the very start of The Spirited Talk Podcasts, one man has consistently funded Trev's work. Robert James has given a monthly donation that has allowed the podcasts to remain distributed on all the main podcast apps, including Apple and Amazon. Without his monthly donation, the podcasts would only be available on this website. Instead, the recordings continue to receive hundreds of listeners in many countries around the world. Reflections is a collection of coffee-time short tales from the journal of a medium. Humorous muse looking back on life's experiences, and other things to give a thought to. This category is currently only available to Spirited Talk Envoys.

Writing is a wonderful way of recording thoughts from our life. We don't need to be best-selling authors,  we just need to be able to write.  Journaling is often misconceived as something for the organised few people. It's quite the opposite. Anyone can find a few minutes every day to record a few thoughts through the pen, the smartphone or the recorder. Memories can fade over time, so keeping a journal is one way of treasuring memories for the future. Mediums should always be keeping a journal to record their development and unfoldment. 

Info-boxes are a way to bring an extra piece of information to your attention, without the need to click away from the page. Each info-box is usually related to the topic on the page. The box can be dismissed using the X within the box top right corner, or clicking somewhere outside of the box. 

This archive website is ideal for all dedicated students seeking to further improve their mediumship abilities, and offers another medium's ideas, opinions and beliefs, based on years of study and practice. New content is continually being added and the Envoy subscription gives complete access to all the content when it is published. The philosophy of the website author is that all mediums, no matter what level of unfoldment, should be continually developing and unfolding their potential.
