This is the fifteenth session of the eighth series of Lanzarote Sessions, transcribed during a break to the Canary Islands in December 2024. During our frequent visits, I sit in the power of the spirit at least once daily and allow the spirit-connect to share a message with me.

I’m always aware of synchronicity happening around me. As I write this, it’s happened yet again! A speaker replies to a conversation 155 days ago, but I only asked the question yesterday!
In the early hours of yesterday morning Jane and I arrived back home in England after being in Lanzarote for three weeks. A changed contrast in climate and lifestyle. As we settled in our cold bed with a quilt tucked tightly around us, we spoke of how we were missing the hot evenings we’d just left and how cold, wet and miserable it was here in the cold suberbs of Greater Manchester.
By last evening, we were back into the normal routine and come tea-time we both plonked ourselves on our favourite lounge chairs before putting the TV on for the six-oclock BBC news. Oh dear, doom and gloom was all that was on offer. After catching the news headlines, we agreed to switch over the 5 Action and watch some old reruns of Police Interceptors instead. We were needing lighter input from the big screen that seems to play an important role in our social life in this country.
On more than one occasion we’ve mentioned how our lives in this country are so different than when we’re at our second home, Lanzarote. It’s not just the climate that makes the difference, it’s the friendliness of the people and their completely different priorities in their lives. Our friends on the island are hard-working and family focused. They come from other Spanish speaking countries to work and live there in perfect harmony. Moroccans, Columbians, Cubans, Venezualans, mainland Spanish, Mexicans and a few other races thrown in! If ever the topic of conversation turns to world politics, each of them has the same point of view about the USA President. Nutter!
But our friends don’t take the state of the world too seriously. They are focused on their job, their families, their home, and making us happy. They are generally more insular in thoughts about the state of the world as we see it. The over-riding message I get from them is that life is too short to be wanting to carry the mental baggage of the world’s issues on their backs all day. It is therefore interesting that this session speaker talks about how we see our world today.
There are positives and negatives to being someone that is informed, up-to-date, and in touch with the political and climatic environment. Sometimes, I wish I wasn’t so keen to stay in touch with it all!

THE SPIRIT INSIGHT

There may come a time when mankind will have to learn to live with each other better than they are, for the sake of the human race, and planet earth.
Now, that statement can be read many ways and in accordance with your outlook on life. If you feel that humankind are not participating in such a way at this time, you’ll consider my statement as a desire.
Or you may consider my statement more as a vision statement for the future. But without me spending too much time suggesting other ways to read the statement, consider if it not already happening.
It is all too easy to listen to your negatively bias news and believe your world is in a mess already. I’m glad to say it’s not. Throughout
time there have always been wars. Fighting and disharmony aren’t new trends. The difference is, you live in an age where your friends across the planet can share information on gadgets in their pockets, in real time. This type of detailed scrutiny was not always there, yet the things were happening. It was just that less people ever heard about it.
I don’t believe my open statement was anything more than an instruction that every person on earth shouldn’t consider as a way of life. Something for each person to strive for, to live for, and to play a part of.
War, conflict and disharmony aren’t forces that we here need to worry about. We live in the state that my statement suggests. Isn’t that exciting?
So, is it not possible therefore, that my statement is referring to a state of being that each person will encounter when their time comes to join our world?
We see our world as the real one. We believe our life here to be the utopia we once sought on earth. The question therefore needing an answer is why it appears to need individuals to transition before they wake-up?
Your world is exactly as you view it as an individual. If you choose to feed off the negativity, you shouldn’t be surprised with how you grow.
There is so much beauty, love, peace and harmony on your world right now. But are you giving yourself space to see it, to experience it, and be part of it?
The biggest mistake mankind makes is in not taking responsibility for how they respect their life. To many, living is just that – living. You could even suggest merely existing.
I suggest to you that you have choices and if the world is not how you want to see it, change how you look at it. Choose a different window to view it through.
That is all I want to share with you this time.
Change your view and you will change your point of view.

MY AFTERTHOUGHTS

🔷 I had to read this session several times to understand a few of the speaker’s comments. When I was proof-reading the session notes for preparing this article, I became confused with this statement: “I don’t believe my open statement was anything more than an instruction that every person on earth shouldn’t consider as a way of life. Something for each person to strive for, to live for, and to play a part of.” So, without understanding it correctly, I chose to remove the .n’t from the word ‘shouldn’t’ believing it might be an error in my transcribing of the message. But I rarely change any of the original text, and it played on my mind that I should leave it. So, I again reread the statement in the context of the entire message and realised that the speaker was indeed correct using the word. Obviously, I returned the .n’t to the word!
🔷 Another example of how this session message has synchronised with my learning journey is in how this speaker’s message is the same as one of the sentiments of Justin L. Shaw in his book ‘Sourcery 101: 13 Rungs To A Higher Elevation of Consciousness’, which I finished a few days ago.
🔷 I was read in that book I mentioned in the last comment, Justin quotes someone who said, “If you want to change the world, change how you view it.” That is exactly the message that this speaker is suggesting to us. Change ourselves first, and the world will follow. There’s more to these instructions than one might lightly believe. As I age, I’m slowly beginning to understand the importance of such approaches to life.
