- The Lanzarote Sessions
This is the fourth session of the ninth series of Lanzarote Sessions, transcribed during a break to the Canary Islands in March 2025. During our frequent visits, I sit in the power of the spirit at least once daily and allow the spirit-connect to share a message with me.
|| This summary written on 25th June 2025 | 108 days after session
It’s quite normal for each of us to wonder what legacy we will leave to this world when our time comes to make the next stage of our life journey. There are people that won’t have given such a deep question a thought, but those that do, will find themselves digging deep into their past records and their achievements to come up with some justifications, occasional moments of pride, and things people will remember them for. Quite a normal thought process.
Where would one start to find possible answers to the question though? Perhaps the starting point is by considering who will miss us the most, and for how long. Our close family, our relatives and then our friends. But what about beyond those? Who beyond those will care enough to give us another thought after we have passed? People are passing over to the next world every second of our time. We only know of the ones that are close to us, or we knew by name. The rest have made the transition without us even being aware of it.
So how far did their individual legacies reach? How did their unique lives touch the world, outside of their close circle of family and friends? Ironically, most people’s legacies that we are aware of were most probably ‘enhanced’ by the memories and the passing of time. Pioneers of mediumship, for example, were mostly ordinary people when they were alive. Something they achieved with their spiritual work has resulted in us remembering them, and in some cases, considering them pioneers of their time.
More to the point, how will each of our lives be remembered, and for how long, and for what greater good? What have we achieved during our lifetime that has made the lives of others better? Oh dear, I think I’m going to slip away quietly and be forgotten tomorrow, because my legacy barely puts a mark on the paper of time. The sands of time will fill the hole we leave quicker than we would care to imagine. So what is the answer?
Our legacy is less important than the effects of how we touch people when we are alive this side of the narrow divide. Our legacy, if one should be considered important, should therefore be to be remembered for what love we gave, what peace we shared, what care we radiated and what differences we made to those we came into contact with.
The speaker in this session chose to humble me, reminding me that it is up to me to change my ways before the world can change. I certainly received a response I wasn’t expecting to a question I’d be harbouring in my mind.
- POSTSCRIPT
It’s a little egotistical to be considering what our legacy to this world will be once we’re passed. It’s more important to be using our time on earth to add the ingredients needed to make our world a better place, while we’re here. This has nothing to do with fame or a public profile. It’s to do with our actions, while we’re on earth.
THE SPIRIT INSIGHT
transcribed on Saturday, 8th March 2025, at 4:00 pm
Good afternoon. I heard a question just as you were preparing for my arrival. You were concerned about the climate in your world and what consequences it has on mankind.
I am not, by any means, a font of all knowledge, but like everyone else, I hold an opinion. Whether it matters or not is up to you to decide. But consider this: as I share my opinion, I do so from the perspective of living in a different plane than you.
On the face of it, humans have done this to themselves, over time and without thought of the consequences. Even in my time on earth, pollution was increasing. But nobody dare mention it, for fear of being accused of being a killjoy.
The world appears vast, especial compared to a human being. For far too long, people believed that the earth was self healing, repairing itself and able to absorb all the man-made pollutants. Over the years, the damage started to amount up, until it has got to where you are today.
It is my belief that now the damage done has gone too far for humans to completely heal the planet. The damage and the consequences are there to stay, and are likely to get much worse before it gets better. It will though. One day, when mankind has accepted the wrongdoings and addresses them, some healing of the planet may occur. But as with human
healing, the scars will remain forever.
Humans have become too demanding of the planet and all the rich ingredients of it. Human greed is disguised as progress, instead of over-indulgence. Your laws of energy and motion have been completely ignored in favour of things to apparently make your lives easier, more comfortable, less demanding and stress-free. Humans believe, why work hard when we can make a machine do it? Why use our own energy when we can take it from others?
Human attitudes are wrong and fewer than ever give the planet a second thought. Yet the planet is your home, and everyone’s home. You are only concerned about climate change because it has effected the climate where you are in the Canaries. You flew there, with several hundred more people, on a polluting aircraft. But did you care of the consequences. Did you think you’re not part of the problem?
It’s that kind of attitude multiplied by millions of others with the same outlook that brings you to where you are with the planet state. But, like others. you’ll hope that someone with power and authority will sort it out for you. Or you’ll think that you’ve best part of your life behind you, so why bother in the last few years.
The problems with the planet belong to every individual with intelligence that resides there. Yes the problems will take more than one person to solve, but solve, they must.
So my advice to you is start doing what you can to respect your planet. Appreciate that the planet gives you a home and without it, you will not live long. Regarding the future, it would scare me too much to look at what may be coming your way. I’ve said all I want to say. It upsets me that your people are so blind to the damage that the consumer filled lives are creating.
Life should be all that matters, and the protection of the home should therefore be as important.
I’ll leave those thoughts with you. Take them or leave them. As I said, I’m no authority, but I can see where you are all going wrong, and that frustrates me.
Think on. I’ll speak through you again soon, if you’ll allow me.
Goodbye.

MY AFTERTHOUGHTS
written at the time of this presentation
🔷 It was not my intention to have the question of climate heard by the speakers in the spirit world. It had been in the forefront of my mind because of a conversation I’d had with Jane minutes before sitting for this transcribing session. The speaker’s answering it surprised me though. The state of this planet is an earthly matter and one I would not have considered putting to those in an alternative form of life. That said, it was interesting to hear this person’s opinion.
🔷 The speaker appears to be happy to share some of his/her personal platitudes, especially further into the message. The mention of our over-consumption for least effort certainly hits the mark. I found the later remarks concerning what is ahead of us to be a little concerning though.
🔷 The speaker managed to point out my flaws in flying to the Canary Islands thereby adding polution to the planet. In my defence: We always fly using Jet 2. They have a policy of offsetting any polution that the flight creates by planting trees and countering the pollution it causes in other ways, even if it is funds towards the removal of carbon dioxide. Jet 2 are strong on this and claim that their flights do not add to the issues of world polution. That is my defence!
