I’ve noticed that more than previously, I’m content in knowing, without any doubt, there is a life after this one and, more to the point, that much of the workings are not as important as I once believed.
I’ve learnt that many of the finer details of living a life after this earthly one, aren’t really going to change anything for me here in this life on earth. How can I possibly start to understand a life outside of the boundaries of our laws of physical life?
Speakers have told me time after time that it’s near impossible for them to explain the mechanics behind living without a physical form. It is what it is, it defines explanation, reason and logic. So wasting time trying to discover something to latch onto is futile in the bigger picture.
A number of years ago, during a physical séance by physical medium Scott Milligan, and in complete darkness, I witnessed some of his technical team in the spirit world, create a door in a solid wall that they used to enter the room. Nobody else saw it. Was it ‘real’ and more to the point, do you believe me? Do I need to convince you?
I believe that the speakers I connect to for these sessions, are aware of what it is I need to hear at any moment of my connection with them. Today, this speaker focuses on life this side, what we can do to make it a more fulfilling one, and does so with a frighteningly realistic proposition.
The poignant part of this conversation comes when the speaker turns the table on me, (or us) and suggests the way we view others actions is not where the focus should be. But the question this raises for me is in how important the message is. Are the words mere philosophy, colour phrases and hollow statements, or do they reveal a direction and purpose by changing our focal points in life?
POST SCRIPT
There is one point in this session where the direction of the conversation became uncomfortable for me personally. For a few moments, I thought that my higher spirit was wanting to hear words that pampered to my needs. But as the conversation continued, I realised what the point was and how it sits with all of us.

The greatest deeds of mankind
There is a statement for you to ponder over. But before you do, consider what the word 'deeds' refers to and consider your answers in the context of helping mankind, if you please.
The caveman that invented the wheel could hardly be considered for such a reward. Although the wheel changed the world at that time. it wouldn't have been long before someone else came up with the idea. And the invention wasn't made with the intention of helping mankind, merely as a means to move things around.
No, consider deeds that individuals have done that have had an impact on [my] people's lives and for the greater good. I will leave it with you to write a list, in your own time. The challenge then would be to define how many of those you list did whatever it was they did, knowingly for the greater good of mankind.
There are many people from history that deserve the award. Although there are still some people in your modern times that would qualify, there are fewer these days than ever before.
The materialistic drive has taken over society of your generations. Fewer people are focused on helping others before first helping themselves. This is a key difference. Read my words again. Help others before helping self. Now - back to your list. How many would be eliminated from it now?
Also to consider is, the deeds need not be of a grand scale. The greatest deeds might be done by one person to another. Perhaps someone chose to give their life to save another. Would you consider that a great deed worthy of recognition? And when you've spent time listing and then eliminating these great people, ask a question. Are you on that list? If not, why not? Have you lived your life without doing any deeds for others without benefit for yourself? Ah, the list has grown by one, I hope.
Now we come to the basis of my conversation with you. The greatest deeds have yet to be achieved, and every human living on the planet earth could still achieve that merit. Not just once, or twice, but many times over their lifetime.
So although I started the conversation talking about the greatest deeds of mankind, we now know that every person could, and should, qualify. If humans changed their selfish attitudes and cared more about others, the so-called society would equally change. The world would become a better place, don't you think?
So what will be your greatest deed this day, this week and this year? Is it important enough for you to care about it, or do you consider my words as mere philosophy?
The greatest deeds of mankind lie in your abilities. Helping others, putting them first is a rewarding way to live life.

I did participate in the exercise suggested by the spirit speaker. Many of the people I listed were indeed eliminated after giving more thought to why I had chosen them. I believe we can learn from such exercises. If nothing else, it helps us realise a purpose with our potential. Based on that, I’m awarding a high percentage of spirit-inspiration.
🔷 On the notes above, and the original written copy (attached above), the speaker uses the word ‘my’ when referring to people. (third paragraph). Surely the only person that could call people as ‘my’ people would be the Divine? I chose to remove that word for the podcast version because it is distracting. It may have been written by error, or there is something deeper behind the speaker.
🔷 I’m fortunate enough to live with one of the most unselfish people I’ve ever met. Jane does so much good, often without thought for herself. Every day in some small way, she does unselfish deeds, and without realising it too. Perhaps they’re not noticeable on a global scale, but to me as an individual, they are so inspiring.
🔷 If there was one over-riding message I might add to this, it would be that we can learn so much from the spiritual philosophy shared with us from the spirit world. Perhaps more so because we’re not hearing words from someone living that only talks the talk without walking the walk!
