I have no control who comes through and wants to share a message with me, and there’s a lot of enthusiastic mediums who are now living their next life. During my fifteen years of transcribing inspired messages from the spirit connect, there have been a small number that have wanted to let me know who they are. Of those, none have wanted to give their name, preferring instead to hint!
It puts a huge responsibility on me, one that I do not seek. If they are who they say they are, why shouldn’t their message be heard? Why wouldn’t they use a medium, such as me, connecting from this side to relay their words? But then, a can of worms is opened when such claims are made. People who knew the person when they were alive will always be sceptical, as one would naturally expect.
On the face of it, it would appear I have choices. I can publish the transcribed message in a public arena, such as this website, or I can choose to keep the message private. But those aren’t real choices I can make if I am to keep my integrity with this form of mediumship. The connecting speaker knows these messages are going to be public. If they had issues with that, they would say so, and that has never happened in the hundreds of messages I’ve relayed.
In this session from my archives, I chose to sit in my home cabinet. Upon entering it, and before taking my seat, I immediately knew who would talk to me, even though I was not prepared to commence. All I could do was go with the flow and hope something of value came from their message.
I won’t name the medium in this presentation. The transcription was sent to the passed medium’s best friend, Mr Mark Stone, who I asked to read it and offer comments before it was originally published on the Substack channel. His response wasn’t conclusive. However, I have these couple of questions for you to consider. Why would I make up a message from a well-renowned, deceased person and risk being thought of as a charleton? Why would this said medium not wish to communicate through me?
As they say, the jury’s out on this one. What are your thoughts?

Hello my dear boy, we meet again. I heard my name being spoken recently with your friend in Bournemouth and thought I might connect with you.
If validation is so important for you, M.S will share a wonderful story with you regarding socks! Prompt him though, he’s become forgetful these days.
You’ve done well my friend, since we last met many years ago. That word “potential” was one I shared with you and the other students present. I loved watching your brain ticking to work out if I had complimented you or just shared sentiments. I was right though, wasn’t I? You did prove you had potential and believe me, you haven’t even started yet.
Remember what my passion was when I was teaching you all? It was about learning the discipline of sitting in the power. My boy, you’re doing that more often than you used to, but I want you to extend the length of the time you spend doing so.
You need to strengthen your relationship in understanding your own inner self. This will come by spending more time in the power. Your true potential is at the surface now and with a little more dedication to sitting longer, you’ll experience a greater connection.
So many nice things have been said about me since my passing, but as M. will tell you, I had difficult times in my life. We share a common disease, that I had your diabetes. I’ll confess, you’re more in control of it than I was. I wasn’t good with that discipline.
Dear boy, you know I was always open to share whatever I could with the students in the hope it would help them. I’m so glad you did listen and take on board some of my words at least.
I will have to leave you in a moment, but I want you to think on about potential. You, and all of your readers really should keep this at the forefront of your memories. What is your potential? How can you stretch it? What other treasures lie within you waiting to be unleashed?
Potential is the carrot on the stick. Keep unfolding. So much lies ahead of you, waiting to be released. I am meeting with my sister later, so I will let you free to do your thing. I will return whenever you want me to.
So many of the students from those days are still listening and studying. I know so many of them refer to me from time to time. But it is not me that matters, it is each individual person. Go and reveal your potential.

MY AFTERTHOUGHTS

🔷 Originally, I marked this session down a little more than this. I made that call based on the lack of evidence to support the claim as to who it was that was speaking. However, I have taken several other factors into consideration (mentioned in the Preamble above) and feel I may have been too harsh with my original judgement.
🔷 As is worth remembering, the message within the words is the critical ingredient. Who it is is secondary. That is why I haven’t named who I believe the speaker was. Those that know of me, and Mark Stone, will know who the medium is and hopefully, will accept his message without denying the source.
🔷 Even now, two years later, I have to admit that finding the time to sit in the power more often than I am is a problem I should address. At one time, I was able to sit in my energy, silent for up to two hours each sit. Nowadays, I’ve let my discipline slip, and after 30 minutes, I get the fidgets! I blame it on my seating choice, but then again, there’s always an excuse.

Additional Information:
Before writing the original afterthoughts for the Substack publication, I sent a copy of the transcription to my previous tutor and medium, Mark Stone, who is referred to by the speaker in the session. I wanted his opinion of the message and to offer any feedback he could on the sentiments of the speaker’s words.
The story of the socks, the speaker was referring to, means nothing to Mark. However, Mark did confirm that the speaker did have a sister, though he believed she might still be on this side of life, not that that changes the message from the speaker.
I informed Mark that, based on his summary, I would not publish the name of the speaker. However, Mark suggested that the minutia within the connection was precisely as the speaker would have wanted it to be. A subject he was passionate about.
