This is the fourth session of the eighth series of Lanzarote Sessions, transcribed during a break to the Canary Islands in December 2024. During our frequent visits, I sit in the power of the spirit at least once daily and allow the spirit-connect to share a message with me.

An important consideration that any avid student of mediumship should realise is that not every question can be answered.
I mentioned in a previous post that some tutors can’t stop themselves from attempting to answer every question, even when their answer is based on their opinion rather than fact. Often, the student’s question cannot be answered and trying to answer only leads to confusion and misinformation. Difficult questions, such as the difference between a psychic and a medium, the body, spirit and soul, the time in spirit conundrum, and many similar.
The plain fact is that many of those types of questions cannot be accurately answered based on real evidence or facts. Students would save a lot of their energy trying to seek answers to questions that nobody on this side of life really knows the answers to. Tutors have opinions, though, and the more experienced the tutor is, the greater their depth of understanding will be, normally. They’ve years of learning and growing and may have formed ideas based on their research. But, without having been to the spirit world, how can anyone know the answers to the bigger questions?
And then there are the limitations of our language, our biological and scientific boundaries to appreciate. Guides, and personalities from the other side, more often than not, find it difficult to explain new concepts to people that are limited by the natural laws set in their environment. Another issue is in understanding how much our grandparents, or parents, or friends in spirit now know from their life perspective. Just because their personalities continue to live in another dimension, doesn’t automatically make them a font of all knowledge. For them, often, life is nothing more important than a continuation process.
We can all read books written or channelled through mediums, from people in the spirit world. Swedenborg, Cayce, and Silver Birch are the most popular. But again, each varies in interpretation and explanation of their worlds. So it can become frustrating for the students seeking deep answers, particularly in regards to the physics and laws outside of our own. My advice, for what it’s worth, would be to accept the answers you’re offered, but don’t set them in concrete as final. Remember, most tutors, and students with some experience, base their answers on their opinions, the value of which is up to you to decide.
In this session, the connected speaker from the spirit world attempts to answer the question regarding the motion of time in the spirit world. When I reread this session for the compilation of this presentation, I found myself more confused than ever with their statements. I have warned you!
The original question was sent to me directly from a senior Envoy. Unfortunately, they used the wrong email address which meant I inadvertently read the question weeks before this session took place. I had dismissed the question, knowing my mind would be too strong to allow the spirit speaker to answer. However, during the following session, the speaker chose to address that very question, which, given the choice, I would not have brought to the speaker, knowing my bias of being aware of the question.
THE SPIRIT INSIGHT

Good day Trevor.
I planted the topic I want to talk to you, and your friends about earlier. But I didn’t give you any details to lull over. This topic is specifically aimed at your friend who blew his cover and sent you a question a few weeks ago. You replied to him that knowing the question in advance was something you didn’t work with. I’m sure you’ve forgotten it by now!
Like so many others, including you, you have this healthy thirst to know more about time. I hope I can fill you in with a few interesting facts that might just stir your imaginations.
The first fact to realise that you, in your current life existence, are locked into your motion of time. I don’t like the word ‘linear’, when referring to time. It’s a rather meaningless phrase, don’t you think?
First, I should say that whatever I say to you is based on mine, and other interested people here’s opinions. The big questions are beyond even us.
So lets start with another fact: The most important one, and one that might make many people disagree. But this is on our findings, research and understanding. keep that in mind please.
Fact, time exists, and so does the motion of time. Your science is correct. Time moves at its own constant rate.
Fact, humans in the physical form of life are fixed to the time motion. There are no ways around that. Sorry to disappoint some of you. Accept it for what it is. Your life could not, nor would not be able to exist outside of your time motion. Ok?
So if time is fixed, what can change to seemingly move time? Well there are a few possibilities. I will share with you, only those that we believe stand up to testing.
The motion of time, though fixed may differ according to your life cycle. Your perspective of time therefore varies. How that life exists in that time motion may be at a different rate than the human beings’. You’ll recall I said that time is a constant? Fact it is. But if something, including all of us in our life cycle you call spirit, is not locked to that constant of time, we can therefore move upon it.
But wait, understand this. The movement I am suggesting is comparing it to your time motion, which is not in existence for us in the same fixed way.
Remember the speaker you had a while ago that told you we can revisit memories as if they are happening again. Those memories, as you refer to them are instilled in that motion of time that they happened in. But we, and many other life forms aren’t fixed to that motion of time. So we can revisit them as observers. We can’t change the memories, that would lead to disaster even if we could. But we can revisit them at leisure.
But here’s the thing to consider. Humans on earth often wish they could go back a minute, an hour, a week, month, year or longer and change something they wished never happened. But they fail to appreciate that those things happened for a reason, even if it was only as a lesson for the person.
Let me ask you a rhetorical question. Would you really want to change something from your past? Would you be happy with the person you become without such events? I doubt it very much. That is what life is about after all.
Fact, our perspective of time is entirely different to yours living on earth. A century of your time are moments of ours. But the two cannot be compared. They are entirely different models.
Fact, we, in this life cycle, can shift temporarily, either backward or forward on what you would consider your time motion. But again, consider this, we too have important lessons to learn and we are on a journey of progress. We cannot avoid that, nor do we want to. There is little reason for us to, therefore, move forward or backward in our motion of time.
Your scientist believe that if speeds beyond that of light were possible, then travelling forward would effectively slow time down. Sorry to pour weedkiller on your strawberries, that is not a fact, nor is it remotely true. There is too much theory muddled up in it.
As I’ve already said, you’re motion of time is fixed, no matter what speeds were ever possible. Time for you is fixed to your life existence.
Do we, in this life cycle want to jump through time? No. Yes we can revisit memories that once happened, but that is the same as you watching an old video of a memory-you recorded. Everyone in that video was thinking something when it was recorded, and those thoughts exist in that moment of time, forever. Observing them again is one thing. Changing them is just not possible. I doubt even the Divine forces of life itself could do so either.
It is worth reminding you that science fiction, as you call it, is more often than not, just that, fiction based on the topic of science. Forget time shifts or time travel. They do not, nor ever will exist for you in your life cycle.
The problem with humans is their lives on earth are finite. There is a beginning and an end. Everything in between is measured using your motion of time. But humans, being what they are, like to explore things and find ways to manipulate them. Time is one such topic that continues to fascinate and waken the over-active imaginations.
Can we see your future? Yes. Can we change it? No
Do we want to? No, why would we. Can we see your past? Of course we can, as can you.
Our driving desire is to continue living our life within our life cycle and to the best of our abilities. Anything else is way beyond our desires.
Don’t get me wrong though, we, like you, enjoy exploring the possibilities, experimenting within our limitations and widening our understanding. We, like you in your life cycle, are evolving, and that too is a constant.
You’ve drained my energy this time. You’ve did well to stay focused so long. Thank you.
Maybe some time in your future, we’ll revisit this topic, but for now, that is enough.

MY AFTERTHOUGHTS

🔷 Earlier in the day, before sitting for this session, I became aware that the speaker was going to address this question. I became concerned and made extra effort to make sure I didn’t formulate words in my mind. A few hours passed and by the time I sat for this session, I’d forgotten about the earlier warning. I had no choice but to go with the flow. I knew I had the option to omit the session from the schedule if I wasn’t happy with its pureness, though I’ve never needed to do that. I also knew that this speaker was giving me a detailed message. The notebook page count was twice the normal session length and I had to work hard towards the end to maintain focus on the speaker.
🔷 As I mentioned in the preamble above, on reading this session back for this presentation, I felt the speaker had shared with me much information, yet at the same time, told me nothing I couldn’t have worked out for myself, given enough time. But a skeptic might suggest I had time, from receiving and reading the question, to sitting for this session. I cannot deny that. Based on that fact, I awarded this session a lower mark than perhaps it deserves.
🔷 I’m often reminding readers that these messages are transcribed from the voice I hear in my mind sharing them. The speaker is speaking to me in normal language, which is often not grammatically correct. To appreciate this point, I would suggest that you read this session aloud, as if it were being spoken, rather than using your mind to read the words. If you do this, you’ll appreciate how well the speaker speaks, even if there are grammatical errors when transcribing the words.

WHAT’S NEXT?
When your question is received, the only detail Jane tells me is that a question has been received for a spirit session. She does not tell me the question, nor anything about the sender. She knows I don’t want to know those details at that time. Jane will write the question, and only the question, on my digital notepad, (Kindle Scribe) just before I sit for the session, which could be weeks and days later. She then hands the notepad displaying the next new blank page. This system ensures I don’t know what the question is before I am ready ‘in the power of spirit‘. When I commence the session transcription, the connected speaker might (though not always) ask me to scroll back and read the question aloud. Immediately, and without further thought, the transcription begins.
Remember, at this stage, I don’t know who the sender was, nor any other details. When the session is completed, I may ask Jane who sent the question in, though that may not always be so. Because of the way I switch off after a session is complete, I tend to just want to rest, or return to normality, without further thought about the session. I’m overly strict about the pureness of this form of mediumship and hope you will appreciate how important this is to me.
