FROM ARCHIVES: GREAT SCOTT THROUGH THE DANGERS

THE PREAMBLE

This spirit insight is from the archives and was previously published on the Substack channel. Only the actual transcribed message has not been updated or amended. All the additional notes have been written at the time of this archive publication.

|| This summary written on 18th March 2025

Looking back on my early transcriptions, such as this one, I can appreciate how much deeper my connection to the speakers from the spirit world has become since. When I judge their quality, I’m taking into consideration how much of my influence was involved with the message.

Honesty has always been important to me in this form of mediumship, as it should be with all other forms of work. So, although my comments are being amended for this archive edition, I’m unlikely to change the original grade that I gave it when publishing. It was made nearer the time of publication and, therefore, is naturally more accurate than it would be now three years later.

For the moment, consider this: If the message in the transcription below resonates with you, then the author is less important. We tend to believe that when an ordinary friend tells us something, it holds less value than if told to us by some person we hold greater respect for. The same is true in these sessions. If I were the author of the words I transcribed through my spirit connection and they were not from an invisible speaker, does that mean the message has less significance?

This session contains a few references that the speaker challenged me to research after the session was complete. During the original publication creation, I did check out the claims. As you’ll see in the Afterthoughts section, they were a mixed bag!

As a reminder, the session that follows has not been edited or adjusted for this presentation. You can click the link ‘View PDF Export Of Original Notes’ where you’ll be able to see the original notes from the digital notepad.

THE SPIRIT INSIGHT

transcribed on Tuesday, 19th July 2022, at 1.28 am

Great Scott! The explorers of the world had a vision that drove them to find places that mankind had little or no knowledge about. But many of the more well-known ones were taking an internal journey of exploration too. They were often spiritual in their outlooks and driven by their desires to make their worlds a better place.

Their passion was so strong that it saw them through the dangers that most other humans could rarely achieve. These people were in touch with their inner selves and had developed incredible relationships with their spirit guides. This is where they found the drive needed to face dangers. They were assured of their safety by those hidden guides. In several incidents, the explorers were driven by explorers of previous generations now in the spirit world, but watching and supporting them from this side.

When you research Hilary, you’ll learn about how he was inspired by Columbus. There were many more too. There was also more than one that actually met these spirit explorers in a physical situation where they described them as real as real could be.

There is a famous case of an explorer that claimed if it hadn’t been for a warning they’d received from their spirit explorer guide, they’d have walked into a situation that would have taken their life.

Like follows like, this is a universal law that you should always remember. Artists in spirit help artists still alive on earth. Doctors, nurses, and many other professions are filled with people that know they were inspired by previously alive on earth examples.

You too, my dear friend, are being helped with your unfoldment, as you call it, by like-minded people this side that want to help you. Your inspired writing is no different. One day soon we will reveal to you who is watching over you as you learn to channel our words.

Like always follows like in both life and spirit. Thank you for rewording that sentence.

We do not approve of the word ‘death’ for it implies a finite ending and as you know, life does not end. It is a progression. I hope you enjoyed these words this evening. I am sure you’ll be straight onto your internet tomorrow researching for validations of these words tonight. Fear not, they are the truth.

[ME] NO MORE WORDS FOLLOWED BEFORE MY MIND TOOK OVER.

MY AFTERTHOUGHTS

written at the time of this presentation

🔷  I originally gave this session a low grade, so feel I cannot upgrade it several years later. I believe I would have done so based on some of the claims from this speaker appearing to be inaccurate or uncheckable. The suggestions don’t stand up to scrutiny. The reason might be because my mediumship thoughts overrode the speaker, or I heard the information wrong. Now, three years later, I tend to believe the former reason.

🔷 At the time of first publishing this session, I did some research to find out if there was any evidence that the work of previous explorers influenced later explorers. On the face of it, that would seem like a logical thing to happen. But evidence was hard to find. However, I did find words from Sir Randolf Fiennes, who suggested some of the early great explorers influenced his explorations. In particular he states that Ernest Shackleton had inspired him to pursue his visions.

🔷 The speaker suggests that in their world, the use of the word death is rare, for death does not exist. But being realistic, the word is taboo with anyone, in spirit or on earth, who believes life is eternal. So, the speaker saying that is hardly groundbreaking evidence!

“Like always follows like in both life and spirit.”

REBRANDING FOR 2025

The series of WFSIW has been rebranded to Spirit Insights. A few minor tweaks have been added to the new design for a cleaner look.

The actual sessions remain the same and they will all be indexed together as one collection

How Writing Is Achieved

During a session of sitting in the power, Trevor opens his notebook and transcribes the words he hears in his mind as a speaking voice. The transcription is exactly as it is heard.

Only a few words are heard at a time, giving Trevor time to transcribe them. Trevor never knows ahead what the topic of the communication will be.

The process is known as automatic or inspired writing, determined by the depth of the connection.

RECENT

The words are heard as a voice in my mind and written exactly as heard. However, occasionally the translation from voice to words contains grammatical faults. Where these effect the structure and meaning, during the process of converting the notes to this digital form, minor adjustments may be made.

“No man was ever wise by chance.”

ABOUT TREV'S AFTERTHOUGHTS

The Spirit Insights sessions are usually published some time after being transcribed. This allows Trevor to read the transcription from a fresh perspective and have the ability to critique better.

2025 CHANGES

As of January 2025, the original WFSIW page design has been updated, and every session added after that date uses this new format.

The series is initially only available in full to the Spirited Talk Envoys, who are paying subscribers. After two months, the page is made available to everyone.
