This is the twenty second of the seventh series of Lanzarote Sessions, transcribed during a break to the Canary Islands in September 2024. During our frequent visits, I sit in the power of the spirit at least once every day and allow the spirit connect to share a message with me.

Today’s session includes a question sent to me from a Senior Envoy. Sent using the correct procedure, the Envoy’s question is copied to the digital notebook by Jane and the first time I read it is at the moment I am prepared to transcribe the speaker’s response.
I always welcome questions for the speakers in the spirit world from other people. I have established a method that reduces the amount of time I have to read the question and unintentionally form a possible answer from my own knowledge. In this preamble, I’ll explain how you can send your question to me, for a future session with the excellent speakers in the other world.
It starts with you having a question you’d like me to present to the speaker. Its topic can be anything you like and is best based on your own spiritual unfoldment. Make the question as concise as you can. Don’t worry about including personal details, they are usually omitted from the final publication.
Open up a new email and type the following as the subject: A QUESTION TO SPIRIT
In the body of the email, type your question and a few details around it if you feel they pertain to the topic.
Send the email to the following address only: jane@lanzarotejane.co.uk
Do nothing else! Don’t even tell me you have sent a question. I don’t want to know who sends in the questions until after I’ve received an answer from the speaker in spirit. Jane will only tell me she has received a question for the spirit world. She will not tell me the question, or who it is from.
On a randomly selected session day, I will present Jane with a blank page in a newly prepared digital notebook. She will write the question only on it. Once she’s written it, she opens the next blank page and returns the notebook unit to me. I will read the question for the first time at the instant I’m connected to the spirit world and I know a voice is ready to talk to me.
It might appear a bit strict in the way I approach this, but that is for good reason. I don’t want my own imagination and knowledge to intercept and answer the questions. The words I transcribe must be as pure as the rest of the work. On occasions, I know what the speaker has shared with me, and in those moments of writing their words will find myself either amazed by their answer or occasionally in disagreement. But that is not for me to interpret or interfere with the process. The biggest influencer in the process would be if I knew who sent the question in before receiving the answer. Knowing the sender would activate my mind too much into wanting to ‘shape’ the answer around what I conceive as their needs. Hence the reason I never want to know who asks the questions before it has been dealt with by the speaker in spirit.
After the session is complete, for curiosity reasons, I do often ask Jane who sent the question to her. That is the first time I know! If time allows, I tend to send the question and answer to the sender via email as soon as possible. This is often weeks before the actual session is published on this website.
I hope to convey to you that the questions from readers and envoys are treated with the highest possible degree of professionalism and truth. Questions are welcome anytime and dealt with when I deem suitable.
I always welcome feedback from the person who asked the question. If feedback is received and permission is granted, it is included during the production of this website publication.

Jane: can you ask your speaker today, “some of the questions you yourself have”, instead of letting the speaker choose the subject. You might be surprised by the results!
Good day. There is an interesting question. But from what I’ve been told, many of the messages we have passed to you Trevor, have been based on questions you’ve had in your mind at that era of time.
You have often just wanted to receive an inspirational message from us and we have fulfilled.
Your approach has, more than often, been to treat these sessions as classrooms where you allow us free reign to say what we feel is necessary. Likewise, as I said above, when you have a bearing question in your mind during a connection, we do try to address it.
Trevor, I know from your mind that you know who asked this question. Perhaps he should be sitting with a pen and asking us questions as well.
Your favourite phrase, Trevor, is “2 ears and 1 mouth”, as a reference to achieving twice as much listening as talking. This is a valuable tool in your pursuit of knowledge. But let me say, too many questions that people put forward have no relevance to the growth of their spirit and soul.
I know that you, Trevor, have spent much time in your past, with the pen and without, exploring aspects of our life that we have said, time over, cannot be explained to you in your frame of consciousness and understanding.
How is asking us how or if we eat or go to the toilet going to move you, or anyone forward on the path of spiritual development? It is not. It is time-consuming trivia that bears no resemblance to the roles we have in helping you move forward.
May I use your pen to address this gentleman please Trevor? I need you to write yes.
[Trevor] Yes
My dear boy, you might perhaps serve your spirit and soul better by learning more about your personal path through the progression of your spirit and by feeding it what it needs and not what you consciously believe it needs. This medium, Trevor, spent many of his first years of unfoldment bogged down on aspects of this work that served no purpose in his long-term direction.
We eased him away from that course of direction onto one that would serve him better. He no longer has too much of a desire to know the workings of this world. He instead knows, without question that it does indeed exist. He trusts beyond most other people’s trust. There is a continuation of life after your short time on earth in the physical form.
Have I made myself clear enough? If you want to deepen your understanding of this life we’re in, and where you are going, you will only learn by embracing it for yourself.
My medium today is Trevor, tomorrow it could be you. And if not you, it will be somebody else. Like so many of the speakers here that talk to Trevor, we are only concerned with improving his understanding with himself and his spirit.
Trevor is most welcome to ask us questions, as he did only a few sessions ago. But that is not his understanding of how to unfold his abilities any longer. He has moved on from that curiosity stage, as should you my dear friend.
Trevor, thank you for writing my words so accurately. I know you experienced some concerns about how your friend might react to our answer. But this is not your concern, and I’m proud of you for listening with clarity of purpose.
One day soon, people your side will realise that your transcriptions, as you eloquently call them, are a deep and meaningful source of lessons from us this side.
I, and many others working with you, are pleased you went to the Doctor this morning. Now you are back on a course of improved physical health once more. A wise move, even though you were initially pig-headed about it.
I must go now. Your mind is tiring and will soon wonder away from me.

MY AFTERTHOUGHTS

🔷 I think there comes a time in one’s unfoldment that we become content with the path we’re on. Our trust becomes established and reliable, and our expectations and limitations are recognised. The speaker is correct in recognising that nowadays I rarely ask scientific or technical questions relating to the ways and means of the spirit life. They’re not beneficial to me personally in my mediumship journey. I’ll learn how it all works over there soon enough!
🔷 I couldn’t agree more with this speaker when suggesting that more of us should be sitting with the pen and using it as a communication tool for the spirit world to work through. I find myself filled with dismay that students are on this proverbial journey of discovery that involves learning to recognise their spirit and its connectivity to earth and the other world, yet fail to understand how powerful the pen could be to them.
🔷 When I was told who the question originated from, after the session, I reread the notes I’d transcribed to see if the answer was appropriate, knowing what I know of that person. I was satisfied with the way the speaker had dealt with the question, though worried that the querent may not think so. But, as I mentioned in the preamble above, it’s not my call to comment.
