There are a few things about this website that I feel deserve an explanation. In doing so, I’m also not apologising either. As that annoying phrase suggests, it is what it is!
I’m a happy and retired man who’s mission it to get all of my work online in an archive of some sort for others to dip into and enjoy, should they choose to. The task is ongoing and appears to be endless. But there are a few aspects of my work that I feel the need to remind others they should consider when browsing my archives. Here are my point, in no particular order.
THE WEBSITE ISN’T ALWAYS FRIENDLY ON SMARTPHONES.
I know that! I’ve tried to make it as friendly as possible to a range of devices, but doing so adds too much time and effort to my work. Perhaps some day, I will modify some of the templates used, but right now, that is not my priority.
I have always worked with full desktop computers and laptops. So, because these archives are primarily for my benefit, that is my default design. Imagine if the bible were to be released as a thin, small version. How much harder would that be to navigate with ease?
I can’t apologise if you’re finding it difficult to navigate this computer on a tiny smartphone screen. It’s not meant to be viewed that way.
THE GRAMMAR IN THE WFSIW EXAMPLES IS POOR.
I should remind you that I am transcribing the words of a person in spirit who is talking to me. We rarely speak with grammatical accuracy all the time. Our speech is often broken, jumpy and poorly formed as sentences. So the WFSIW sessions are transcribed exactly as they are heard. Although I could adjust each one and make them more grammatically accurate, I believe doing so would take away the authenticity of the exercise. Perhaps you might like to record a few minutes of your own speaking, and then transcribe it word for word. You’ll discover that your speech is also not grammatically accurate all the time. You’ll even discover how many filler words you use!
THERE APPEARS TO BE NO SCHEDULES TO RELY ON
Correct! Nothing is scheduled on this website. I am retired and release new stuff as and when I can. My time is shared between archiving older content from other platforms and producing new content. Schedules put too much pressure on me and believe it or not, I have many other things in my life to get on with!
I APPEAR TO BE TEACHING IN SOME OF MY WORDS
Also true. But I believe I am passing on what I’ve learnt from over a quarter of a century of studying and learning this subject. If you read enough of my work, you’ll also know that I class myself as primarily a student, and always will do. I get frustrated and somewhat annoyed when I hear other mediums acting as if they’ve arrived and know it all. That is so far from the truth in reality. One of the easiest things to observe in other mediums is their egos, which often overrule their humbleness. If I appear to be teaching others through this website, so be it. But I know I am learning today, tomorrow and forever.
THE WEBSITE DOESN’T APPEAR SEO TUNED AND RANKS POORLY ON GOOGLE ETC.
So what! I’m not seeking publicity. The primary reason for this website’s existence is to catalogue my notes, my work, my experiences, and my life working with the spirit world. Perhaps it could be described as my legacy. I can live with that. I believe that if someone was meant to read my words and work, the spirit is intelligent enough to make it appear in their path. I don’t need Google or any other promotions to do so.
MY WORK IS UNTESTED
Some people might consider that my mediumship and work is untested in a public environment. Some people query why I choose not to do platform work, serve a church, or perform public demonstrations. That is a matter of opinion. I have worked on platforms and demonstrated frequently in the past. However, I found my introverted nature meant I preferred one-on-one situations, private readings, and the like more than working in a public environment. Of course, when occasions arise, I do occasionally appear publically, as and when I choose.
WHY AM I ABSENT FROM SOCIAL MEDIA?
That’s a choice I’ve made since retirement. I do still dip into platforms such as Facebook, but I find the general tone of many other’s words to be egotistical, bragging, righteous, selfish, frictioning, and contrary to my beliefs. I find the people on social media platforms to be often fickle, covering their own desires and lacking any humbleness. In terms of mediumship growth, many users on social media love to teach others, but are less vocal about the need to learn. I found myself getting constantly frustrated with social media and therefore chose to walk away from it as it wasn’t benefiting me.
That’s it for this Just Chat! Now you should understand me, my motivations and my desires a little more. I hope this post was useful!
