DAILY NOTES
- Early start as we go off to Matagorda for a breakfast at the Guiness Bar.
- We had a little walk around the strip for a bit of shopping therapy.
- Today was when the main batch of photos were taken for the storage suitcase.
- The final evening was spent back in Matagorda for meal at El Melino
- Jane chose a sea food spagetti while I chose an angus burger with 2 portions of their wonderful chips.
- Jane couldn’t resist having a chocolate brownie for dessert, while I had a slice of cheesecake.
- Today there was a big fire event at the local tip. It sent plumes of black smoke over this area of the island.
- For the time we’ve been on this coastline, there’s been a coastguard boat patrolling the horizon. Apparently looking out for illegal immigrants.
